Needle lenght

Postby sliphill » Wed Apr 19, 2017 8:21 am

At the advice of someone, I have been using 1/2" 30G needles. Well last night I was excited about using the ring that I finally found that works. I injected and the needle bent outwards. But I pushed on the plunger and didn't feel any restriction, so I injected all of the mix. Well needless to say, I didn't get expected results. And I got the infamous bump in the injection spot that is still sore today. This has happened a few times. I guess from the scar tissue it's harder to penetrate. What is the consensus here. What size needle do you use. I'm thinking about going back to the 5/16" 31G size.

Dear Friend,

I used to be frustrated with missed injections and sometimes stabbed myself 4 times at once. I got myself an Autoject and now I don't even think about the injections. Just pop it and it works. I use the smallest needle 5/16 and a very small unit of 4 and never miss any more. Completely painless too.
I highly recommend it for $40 from Anazon.
All the best!

I have several places where I always bend my 29 gauge, 1/2" needles.
I seem to have found a remedy to that, by giving the needle a quick thrust after getting it in the area I want to inject.
I have bent and re-straightened many needles.

I'm no expert but for me I've found the half inch needles are best. When using the 5/16" I generally use the hand not primarily holding the syringe to hold my dick sort of in my palm, wrapping my fingers around my dick to grasp the needle end of the syringe and pull in into my dick while also trying to stretch my dick out some. Of course my stretching ability is limited while also grasping and pulling in the syringe. I'm pushing the syringe and subsequently the plunger in with the other hand at the same time. This steadies my not perfectly steady hands and helps overcome my needle phobia. I pretty much use the same method with the half inch needles but I don't have to pull in so hard as with the shorter needles. I've never had ant issues with bent needles. I do have an Autoject II on order. I hope it's the correct model as I couldn't find any other model.

if you are bending needles then go to a larger size. perhaps 29g or 28g. 30g is smaller. also, i'd stay with the 1/2in.

It is just now feeling better, and the swollen area has gone down. I might want to try on the other side tonight. I have had issues in this one area before, ya know, with it getting a knot. I guess I should just avoid this area altogether. But the consensus seems to be the 1/2" needle. Interesting. I thought by going with a thicker gauge needle, the more likely hood of scarring occurring.
