Injection mistake. Swelling

Postby Tenk11 » Sat Mar 11, 2017 11:50 am

Hi everybody. I tried to self inject myself with Trimix on Tuesday night and I clearly injected too shallow. The skin on my penis is still swollen. Is this something I should worry about? I would like to think that the ml of medicine I injected has dissappated and it is just regular swelling since I messed up and caused some trauma. The penis itself is normal but the side of it looks kind of like I had a bad reaction to a bug bite. If anybody has any knowledge about this, it would be great to set my mind at ease. Have a good weekend, everybody.

No worry at all has happen to all of us at least once. The trimix might have leaked out of needle, maybe the needle bent a little on the way in or you just did not go deep enough to penetrate the wall. Therefore trimix was then
trapped between the skin and the corpora cavernosa where you wanted it and resulted in bump. It usually goes away after 3 or 4 days.

Yes it has happened to me as well...one time it didn't look like I injected deep enough and the medication just gathered under my skin...Looked like a bubble on the side wall of a tire for the rest of the day..Eventually went away. I wouldn't worry..just pay attention to your injecting technique.

I had similar issues with my Bimix. I had tried both manual and using an autoinjector. I noticed quite a bit of resistance during injection and ended up with swelling like you did. What this means is that you most likely are not penetrating the tunica - the membrane surrounding the corpus cavernosa - you need to pierce this membrane to get to the right location. I went back to my urologist for another lesson. Many references out there suggest the injection site be fairly close to the base of the penis, but my urologist suggested much closer to the glans - about 2 inches back. He also recommended a "10 -11 o'clock" position, where I have found many references have suggested more in the "9 o'clock" range.

Making these changes for me was quite an improvement. The injection was much smoother (I now do manual injections with no problem), and I've been able to reduce my dosage (I had increased it to 30ml but it was too much - erections lasting nearly 4 hours). I am on a somewhat unusual Bimix formula - Phontolamine / PGE1 (most Bimix's are Phentolamine / Papeverine). But this is the prescription recommended by my urologist.

Good luck - as I said, try a different location closer to the glans, and try to feel the penetration of the tunica as you inject. A few tries and you'll find your way.
