I emotionally and mentally screwed because of relationship kids and the pelvic pain which means I need more than pills.. My hope was injections would be that pana sea to have at least one reliable session a week.
I had a full erection for 10.minutes with no help at all today, but 2 days ago I had 10 mg cialis and 20 Viagra and struggles to get any sensation so Lost it twice. It's horribly inconsistent.
Apologies for not keeping up with this conversation as I should have. I completely get what a mind fuck ED is and sorry I went dark on you.
Let me just say, YOU'RE NOT SCREWED. The 'notion' is largely correct. I just gave an anecdotal experience (my own). What I was doing was telling you they likely will work, but don't panic or give up if they don't work immediately or the first time. They are FAR more reliable than cialis or viagra. You can botch the injection and not get it into the corpora cavernosa which just means you try again (maybe the next day).
If you haven't tried injections yet, DO SO. I *highly* recommend them, in spite of the fact I've only had ONE and it resulted in a trip to the ER. Injections, in my limited experience, hold THAT MUCH promise to restoring your sex life. Please don't give up...and give them a try.
One other thing, you mentioned a loss of sensation...do you mean in your penis? There's a large body of emerging research saying that lower testosterone levels result in exactly what you're describing in terms of loss of sensitivity in the penis. I experienced this myself and was on Clomid 25 mg per day for about 2-3 years in which time my total T when from 235 to 1113 (I was also supplementing with natural herbs which, with regular blood work kept rising to that high point). I don't recall my free T number but it was well in excess of the top range for my age (49 years old when I stopped and switched to Testosterone Cypionate).
Now, the interesting part for me was that even with a 1113 Total T....I still didn't have a lot of feeling in my penis. When I switched to 200mg of Test per week....my Total T was only around 7-800 ng/dl.....so much lower, but the difference in libido AND sensation in my penis was absolutely night and day. Constant night time erections, more libido....sex or masturbation daily again like when I was younger, etc.
So...if you haven't had your T level tested and if it's low, you can try Clomid....but I'd highly recommend injecting Testosterone instead. It has been absolutely life changing over the last year.

When you say full Erection that can be maintained does that mean it has to actually be constantly rock hard for that entire time?
When I'm having sex I mix it up with foreplay so tend to go hard and softer several times willingly as I'm not being manually stimulated in this time and I need manual stimulation to stay hard generally.
I've never properly tried injections but with pills I can generally maintain a 90 to 100% erection for 10 minutes at least.

Sorry I took so long to reply. Partner had gotten pregnant before having a miscarriage so it was a bit of a crazy few weeks.
I think my issues are caused by stress and the pelvic floor problem.
I havent been tested but i grow body and facial hair like a wolf so I assume test levels are reasonable.
Plus for a couple of weeks when pressure was off having sex due to pregnancy my erections were a lot better.
However now the pain is back and so is the ED.
The injections I have is called invicorp which doesn't contain aprostadil as it caused too much pain.
Back in October I tried 2.5 units of aprostadil Caverject which caused pain and no erection.. So. Substantially worse than pills or even nothing at all. It was overseen by a urologist as well so I am not sure what happened.
We don't get trimix in the UK.
Thanks

I've come to the conclusion that many urologists are not competant to administer intracavernosal injections, especially when totally flaccid. It might be easy enough on some dicks but on others it takes some practice especially if he's injecting someone elses dick. Having pain when injecting and getting no erection response is often a sure sign of a missed injection.

No worries. Sorry to hear about the miscarriage. Hope you're both doing well both physically and emotionally....that can be very traumatic.
Increases in body/facial hair is the conversion of Test to DHT....it's not a good indicator of proper T levels though. If you have the ability to...get it checked....but as you've said, you clearly have psychological ED, so anything you can do to get out of your head and focus on sensation is likely going to be good for you.
Sorry to hear that about Alprostadil. A LOT of guys have that issue. It's very common and some men can get used to it while others absolutely cannot.
I'd say try the invicorp and see how it works for you. Worst case is you go back to pills. 10 minutes of 90-100% erection is a good starting point....and perhaps you can work with your partner (if she's supportive) to try and extend that time by a few minutes a few times a week via whatever you guys are into or whatever turns you on the most. ED absolutely sux, but if you have a good partner, they and you can look at this as an opportunity for sexual growth and closeness in the relationship.
Good luck with it and let us know how the Invicorp goes.....
