May I suggest that you create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.

Joe, I am 4 months post surgery and am having great results. Dr Hakky worked diligently to help re regain size prior to my implant. I used a VED 2x day for 2 months and regained about 1 1/2 inches. I was amazed. Mark your starting length on the tube each week to document your progress. Largest amount of growth usually takes place in the first 2 weeks. Good luck

While searching for a surgeon availabe through the VA and in whom I can have confidence I have been vavuuming 10 months. Mosrly twice a day. I followed two protocols I found in medical journals. At first pumping to discomfort and holding there 10 minutes or so. Later an alternatve which seems to produce less risk of inducing edema. Pump to discomfort then release after a few seconds and immediatelr repeat. Continue for about 10 minutes or so.

I have regained some length and girth and documented this by photographs rather than marking the cylinder. I put inch markings on clear tape on the cylinder. This way, I can donate or sell a pristine apparatus to another man if I decide not to keep it for my (perhaps eventual) revision time.

I'm pumping now for a Jan. 23 implant surgery, but have had little instruction. How hard do you pump up the vacuum pump? Is the goal to pump to a point of pain? If so, how much pain? As much as I can stand? Help! :

I pumped until I felt the same level of pain (if you can call it that - t is more of a pinch) as I used to feel when I was 17 years old and had a raging erection that refused to go down until I climaxed. (Remember those days?)

Seriously, though, I pumped until it pinched and once or twoce I pumped a little too far and gave myself edema (looked like a blister on the shaft of my penis). The edema was not apparent until quite some time AFTER I had released the vacuum, though. So, go cautiously.

My protocol at first was to pump up to a length just a tiny bit more than the prior time I had pumped. Once or twice a day. When the edema happened,, I laid off for several days until it went away, then used the engorged feeling as a guide so I would not repeat the experience.

A vacuum gauge on the VED would have helped.

I'm scheduled for implant surgery on Jan. 23, 2018 and doctor ask me to pump from now to surgery, but after returning home from appointment I realized that I did not ask him for proper pumping technique. So, how hard to I pump? Slight discomfort? Tears running down my cheeks? Or, pump until I bleed? What's the goal or target? Thanks, Chris

Thanks everyone for your input on this. Doesn't sound that I can cause too much damage.

This is not medical advice and only suggestions based on my experiences. I'm not a medical professional of any kind.

Pump to discomfort but not pain. Don't leave pumped for too long or you will get edema. Do repeated cycles but not duration. You can rupture a vessel if you pump up too hard. I know. Use lube. If you have any viagra I suggest you use it if needed. It makes pumping much easier for me. I get no erection form viagra but it does allow much easier pumping. Don't forget the lube. Otherwise you can damage your skin.
