Pump question, please help.

Postby Tallcool1 » Sat Aug 02, 2014 7:53 pm

New to pumping and at first it didn't work all that great. I only retained about 50% after removing the pump even with the ring on. I have always been a "grower" and have not had a good hard on for about 4 or five years now. The pills did absolute nothing but make my heart beat harder. So I have been reading the forums here and decided not to give up on the pump completely and kept at the exercises talked about, I noticed improvements in and out of the pump, reaching up to about five inches in length. Still wasn't able to keep it when the vacuum was removed so I decided to take a 100 mil of viagra, waited a hour and tried it. Worked like a champ got rock hard in the pump but it hurt some and I didn't quite know why until I started to see where I was at in length(real close to 6 inches). My penis was press against the inside of the pump a little and I thought that's why it was just a bit uncomfortable buy I was so happy at what I had and worried it would go away as soon as I removed the pump I didn't worry about being pressed to the side until after I put on the ring and removed the pump. My penis was crooked. What the hell is all I could think. So now I have reading about peyronie's and I think this is maybe what I am dealing with on top of diabetes. Has anyone else run across this? It's going to be a month before go to the doctor again and was hoping you guys might shed some light.

Not good, this many views and no replies is probably a bad thing.

Tallcool1,
Pumping is just like working out at the gym ... you only get out what you put in. It takes time to see results (6 months) ... as for the ring, you'll need a tighter one to maintain your erection.

As for being "crooked" ... most likely Peyronie's ... and not much you can do about it now. Yes your URO can confirm with an exam ... since you have diabetes too, you should consider an Implant. At this stage you are fighting a losing battle ... and I would not recommend Injections ... not many options at this point.

I would try pumping for a few months before opting for an implant. I am a diabetic (over 20 years) and have been pumping for over four years. It sometimes takes a month or so to get your dick properly conditioned for pumping. You might try pumping up (not too much vacuum) for several reps of 2 to 5 minutes every day to get conditioned.

I take 20 mg of daily Cialis and often take 50 mg of Viagra prior to a pumping session in anticipation of intercourse.

Many erections bend a bit to the side. How severe is your bend?

Have you checked out the Peyroniessociety.org?

Thanks for replying guys, I was getting worried that the news was so bad that I was gonna have to cut it off..lol. So okay I will try your advise and stick with the pumping for now even though my wife hates it. She thinks it is too mechanical. I am worried about the implant being good enough, like I said I am small when limp (maybe 3") and would grow a lot when it worked. From what I can understand from people here and other sites the implant is not a great option for someone like me.

Again thanks for talking to me about it and thanks to the guys that work this site. This is one hell of a thing to have happen to anyone, especially when their partner is not very understanding, and blames it and their other problems all on this as a major hurdle in their relationship. Feels really good to have a place to go and talk about it, even though I know it won't fix the problems I have with my wife. Makes me feel like at least I am doing something for myself if nothing else.

I forgot, the bend is not horrible, maybe 15 or 20 degrees. Sorta just freaked me out because it was never there. I do have the tighter rings coming that everyone here suggested.

I think sometimes the tight bands tend to exaggerate a slight bend.

They did make the bend more exaggerated, and holy crap did it snap when I slipped it off the pump. Owwww. Lol, but hey worked like a champ. Like someone said in another forum, "Just got to man up" .

I find the "snap" a bit erotic which helps improve the erection at least in the beginning. I also found that by periodically kegelling in more blood stays off the numbness for few additional minutes.
