Vacuum "therapy"?

Postby alan01346 » Sat Mar 15, 2014 11:36 pm

I got a pump because I have PAD, so my arteries are lined with "plaque". It works, but my question is whether after repeated use my arteries might start to improve. I mean it works because it makes everything larger, including the arteries, so the blood flow improves. Anybody not need a pump anymore for PAD?

Regular use of a VED will only help every aspect of penile health and function. Will you never need it again? probably not - but will you never need to exercise your whole body again? No. You always need to exercise.

The goal should be to get your penis in as great a condition as is possible for you. You can't erase years of lifestyle and genetics. You may discover you need to use less medical intervention - or you may discover the injection or oral meds might start to work. Use it for 2 month everyday and notice the progress. Real penile rehab is a complete physical therapy program, not just pills.

Please:
Pump every day
Massage, stretch, and flex your penis every day
Use your penis every day - either masturbation or sex (no, urination does not count!)
If you doctor will allow it, use pills everyday - like daily Cialis.
use pills or injections if necessary to create an erection for sex.
Exercise, lose weight, eat right, reduce stress
Your goal should be to begin seeing morning erections again - even if they are not really hard.
Each day you don't exercise your penis at this stage, you are losing smooth muscle cells - your penis will atrophy
Vibrational therapy - like the Viberect helps with nerve stimulation and inducing erections.

I found this on Firma Medical website

DIRECTIONS FOR VED THERAPY
We recommend that men practice using the VED® to achieve a firm erection daily for at least two weeks before using it for intercourse. With continued practice, the length of time needed to achieve an erection will decrease, and the firmness of the erection will improve. This will also give your penis time to adjust to being filled with blood again.
VED Therapy is a daily exercise to pull blood into the penis. It’s designed to replace lost nocturnal or night time erections. Follow these instructions or your physician’s advice for therapy. Do not use a constriction ring for daily VED therapy. 1. Maintain a comfortable erection in the cylinder with an air tight seal for 1 minute. 2. After the minute is up press the valve release located on your pump which will release the vacuum seal. This will cause the blood to flow out of your penis and back into your body. 3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 until you have achieved a total of 3-5 erections in a ten minute period. Continue until you experience regular night time erections or spontaneous daytime erections.

I have been doing VED therapy daily for 15min for about 2 years and there's definitely a difference for the better. My erections are firmer, and my penis is thicker. I take 5mg of Cialis daily..and the VED worked so well at first, I was off injections and just taking pills. I am now pretty much back to injecting for sex. As described above VED therapy nourishes the penis with oxygen, nutrient laden blood. It is also beneficial for preventing scarring if you're injecting..But do not pump on the same day after you inject. You cause more penile damage and scar tissue..What I do is I pump early in the morning and when my gal comes over I inject for sex....I give my penis a day off the following day...It seems to be a good way to go. Just remember VED therapy is a marathon..slow and steady wins the race. It takes months before you see some real changes; ...but everybody is different. Good luck and Happy Pumping!!
