My advice to you is don't wait any longer. That is if you health permits surgery.

I didn't know this. That's certainly good news for Jim. Way to go, Jim. I hope I'm the same way when I get to your age.

I got mine at 77. I am now 80. My wife loves it. I love it. It gets used probably on average twice a week. She is 79 now and we hope this thing lasts until I am at least 90. If we are blessed to live that long.

I'm only good for once a week now. My ED started at about 65 and has just got worse with time. Good health with everything else. My wife is not expected to live more than a couple more years, I won't get married again but I still want sex on a regular basis.
I guess my question is is 80 to old for a implant and will it work on a body that old for a few years. Has anyone else had any experience with that? Thank you for any experiences that you may have to offer.

I got the AMS700LGX Sept.14, 2017 at age 75. With careful attention to nutrition, weight control and exercise I was an excellent candidate. Now I am a geriatric stud, making out like a mink at the gay baths. My morale and general sense of well being has soared. And the deflated, never totally limp, dick is a source of envy at the gym. Age, per se, need not be a deterrent.

I got the exact same implant. How is the pump? Do you have to hold the button while it deflates or is it the same as the CX??

My surgeon lent me a sample AMS700LGX because I was not getting the picture from diagrams, and videos are useless since you are on the outside while subject squeezes away, claiming it is easy. Well it is still a challenge for me both up and down. UP: the bulb is hard and finding the exact spot to squeeze it still a challenge, the sample notwithstanding. DOWN: even worse. Uro showed me how to push bulb to far left and hold tightly against scrotum skin, preferably by tubing above bulb. The release buttom is not easy to feel, but now I have got the hang of it, so to speak. In a very quiet room you hear a sighing sound as the fluid drains. The penis will start to go limpish. If you can, hold down the deflate button with one hand and squeeze penis shaft with other. Uro did this to demonstrate, kind of weird because he is cute. (Clinical detachment all around, of course.) Anyway, as the Brits say, “Keep your pecker up,” meaning keep your spirits up.

Larry,
Same pump for me. I have to hold the button while I squeeze my dick. Or at least I did with my original pump. Have to think the new one will work the same way.
