Special cleansing

Did anyone have to use a special cleansing solution at home for a few days prior to their implant surgery?

My doctor had me wash with Hibiclens for three days before surgery. After surgery he asked if I had any left and said to go ahead and use it up.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Hibiclens.....

Thanks guys for responding. I read oonline about the Hibiclens, but I didn't see it in any of the paper work my doctor gave me, nor from the hospital papers. My surgery is this afternoon at 2pm. Was just curious.

I know they do a thorough scrubbing of the entire pubic region and surrounding area so I am not sure what the Hibiclens does, but assume their procedure takes care of everything.

Loosely connected... the night before and the morning of my triple bi-pass, they had me shower head to foot in this antiseptic gel soap. The doctor told me that it is proven to cut down on infection some ridiculous percentage I can't remember. It seems to be catching on.
