Well 2 trips to the pump shop, a trip to Lowe's, a bunch of sweat and 800 bucks later and we have water again. It's a wonderful thing. On my way I passed A FEMA stand passing out bottled water and tarps. They didn't seem to have many customers which is a very good sign. I didn't see much real damage besides trees which sure must have wreaked havoc with the phone and power lines.

Got it all back Thursday afternoon. Very pleasantly surprised as I've been without power for as much as three weeks after past storms. This time not even a week. We were very fortunate here as many got it much worse.

We here in Central Florida are still recovering. No significant damage. A few trees and all bill boards blown out except our "Chic-fil-A cows are still there. We finally have our power on after 7 days in the dark. No air conditioning. We were miserable but safe and dry. We have so much to be thankful for. Many in Florida didn't fare as well as we did. Lots of flooding and some areas still without power or water. Thanks for all the prayers and concerns by my Frank Talk brothers.

We have a friend in Puerto Rico. She emailed me today thought I would think bad of her for asking to borrow 25.00. Her business is tourist base lot of cancellations. She had maxed out all cards with Irma. Her mother gets social security. I sent her 50. She was able to apply for emergency aid just before the office closed for Maria. Said parts of the island was still without power and crews have stopped working till after Maria.

If you have any in the islands that will get two cat 4/5 storms in 2 weeks reach out them. Current track shows it will not be a direct hit to Fl/Ga, but who knows what will happen as it goes across the island. Cuba saved Miami from a direct hit

Glad you came out on the good side of Irma... hope everyone is safe and your cleanup goes well. I could nt imagine being out of power for 7 day. We were out for a 28 hours... drove me crazy... LOL

Demix1, what does your post have to do with anything current?

Hey people am I the only one that can't suffer hot weather without an aircon? I am living not far from ocean and the weather here changes from cold to warm in just few moves, thanks God that A/C was invented. Recently bought an A/C from https://www.socool.sg/ and I can say that they have really good quality. I could tell you more but it so nice in the house, that I am getting lazy.

IMHO he's a spammer working with clockoclock but Paul is more tolerant and is the giving benefit of doubt.
