Anyone else experience SUDDEN HEARING LOSS from Viagra/Cialis/Levitra?

Postby joebloe12345 » Thu Mar 23, 2017 9:18 pm

I'm in my mid-30s and have relied on these meds for quite a few years due to ED that appears to be from venous leakage. I had good success with these but early into my current relationship, I was using it more frequently and woke up one morning with hearing loss in one ear. After treatment with prednisone and several months time, my hearing has returned to normal, however, I am left with permanent TINNITUS/ringing that varies in intensity day to day.

I have since changed over to intracavernosal injections but now fear that after one year, it may be giving me a slight upward curvature of the penis.

I'm somewhat unsure what to do next. Part of me wants to go back to trying the meds but only on occasion and in low doses. I had used them from time to time for 7 years with no issue but definitely do not want any further permanent hearing problems.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this serious side effect and what their experience has been.

I do not have experience with viagra side effects. I do have experience with injections causing scarring. IMO it will get worse over time.

For how long had you used injections? When did the scarring begin to appear?

I don't remember having hearling loss but I did have a bit of blindness for a short time(less than a minute probably). I always got headaches and stuff like that but that was pretty unique.

Its true that a lot of erectile dysfunction pills that make use of sildenafil can cause a variety of side effects with the more common ones being sever headaches of sorts. Its important to do some good research and consult with a doctor before trying any sort of pill. Also, its important to keep in mind that the same pill may not work for 2 different people so it may take some time to find one that doesn't cause many side effects.

I went ahead and did some research and it seems like there are a plethora of side effects associated with taking ED drugs like viagra or cialis (sildenafil/sildenafil citrate). http://pillrankings.com/sildenafil-henn ... -efficacy/ details these side effects in detail and side effects of various other brand versions of sildenafil/sildenafil citrate tablets that are in circulation. Hopefully this info helps you!

I've had a herd of locusts singing in my ears for several years--tinnitus, not sure if Viagara or others have done though. I know several who have this and have not used ED pills of any kind.

I have not experienced hearing loss but possibly did experience a vision incident.

I had an appointment with an optic surgeon regarding an issue with a lens replacement
for cataract. I was in a grocery store checkout when I noticed that my left eye was looking
at the ceiling and the right was looking at the floor. After trying to figure out what was happening
all returned to normal after about 30 to 45 seconds.

I mentioned this as an afterthought to the optic surgeon and he said that it sounded like a mini-stroke
to him. But, as always with mini-strokes, it is difficult if not impossible to determine the exact cause.

That was about 9 months ago and I have had no further incidents. I still use Sildenafil in units of 200
occasionally with some success but have gone to Trimix because of what appears to be venous leakage.
After about 8 months, I am still in the discovery period. My mix is P30/Pen2/Pge-1 1.I am doing .04ml
with a 28 gauge 1/2 inch syringe. This gave me about 45 minutes action. Still working on a shrinkage issue.

Joe,

I have been using Cialis for quite some time, and I did have a sudden loss of hearing in one ear about 2 years ago. I never thought of that as the cause my hearing loss. It could be a possibility.

You were lucky that you were put on the "steroid" right away which helped you gain the hearing back. (One had to begin the steroids within the week of the loss)...i was late to start.

I had tinnitus before and that only compounded my loss of hearing in one ear. Docs could not do detailed testing since I can only do the CAT scan and the definitive test for the hearing is an MRI.

I believe I got the Tinnitus back when I was on an anti depressant after my kidney cancer in 2000. The Tinnitus is driving me crazy and I get no peace at all with that high hissing sound. Damn

Hope they find a cure for Tinnitus sufferers.

Mike

BTW Jim I will have to listen to the commercial and will tell the wife to press harder and maybe that would knock out the Tinnitus... :D
Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
