Fluid Mechanics

Postby Dandapani » Wed Aug 05, 2009 6:01 pm

Can someone describe the fluid mechanics of a normal erection? Or post an URL? All I can find is simple stuff flows in and stuff flows out and when the in is faster than the out, then stuff happens. This was in the description of the standard drugs.

I'm at almost the 8 month mark post prostatechtomy (da Vinci sparing) and the drugs do nothing for me. I told my Urologist that on a scale of 0 (nothing) to 10 (porn star) I'm a one with much stimulation...

I really don't understand what's going on with me and would like to understand what should happen normally.

An excellent book that you might want to purchase is called Saving your sex life by Dr. John P Mulhall. Written for men with Prostate Cancer.
There is an early chapter in this book that goes into great detail on how an erection works.

Also numerous chapters on treatments for erectile problems and how to overcome.
