NHS UK Prescriptions / Diabetes T2

Postby rich2222 » Sun Jun 10, 2018 3:23 am

Are there any UK members who were prescribed with any ED meds other than Sildenafil when they had T2 Diabetes, and then found that their Diabetes went into remission.

What happened with regard to your NHS prescription?

I have just discovered that because of weight loss, I may be coming off the Diabetic Register. Good news you would think, but technically that means that Diebetes is not then a ‘current’ condition and I may not be eligible for NHS prescriptions (other than Sildenafil which doesn’t work) under Schedule 2.
I know that I could ask for Private Prescriptions, but that would be expensive and we are living on a pension.

After a long and bumpy ride to find a working solution to my ED (Invicorp injections), it would be devasting to discover that there is a problem.
66 yrs old
Hypergonadism (Nebido Injections since 2016)
T2 Diabetes
Initially Tadalafil. Then Alprostadil early 2018, but painful!. Now using Invicorp 3x weekly with great success)
Happy to share experiences of the journey. Message me if you want to talk.
