I used the Androgel too and hated it. I didn't find that it worked and it was a pain in the ass. I now self inject once every three weeks and it works great. You should just take the plunge (implant).

Larry,
Has your testosterone level gone up significantly with the shots ? The cost of the Androgel is $500 a month for me and I can't afford that shit. Wondering if the shots are cheaper and more effective. I am definitely noticing a lot more nighttime wood. My pecker is hard almost all night long sometimes. I must have some mental issue that keeps me from getting hard in the bedroom. Too much shit going thru my head. Not sure if I am ready to take the plunge and go bionic. I am almost positive my insurance won't cover it. They don't pay for shit.
Cheers

But the way I seen it was I'm not going to lie so IL politely tell them to mind there own business.
And let them think what they want too.. most of the guys gossiped like women so I knew my story would get old and they'd be onto something else fairly quickly..
If you have to say something I suppose you could say your getting a hernia operated on or something like that
Prior to switching to the shots, I wasn't the least bit interested in sex anymore, especially with all the problems I have had. Since the shots, I am up to it at least 3 times a week (well until my failed implant) I am physically not able to get an erection until my next implant in November. Maybe they will pay for the shots. There are serious medical implications due to low T, including cardiac problems.

Larry,
Thanks for the reply. I am interested to know a little more about your experience. I just turned 53 about 2 months ago. I have suffered with ED since I was about 47. My testosterone has been low for many years. Not sure exactly how long but the it's been below 300 ng for at least the last 5 years. I too had completely lost my libido. Viagra has been working until recently when I just can't deal with the side affect anymore. The body and muscle aches are horrible for up to a week afterwards. I just started the Androgel and already notice that I have erections almost all night but so far I am not able to translate it to the bedroom. I know my junk works but now I think I have more of a psychological problem. Did you find that your libido returned and you were able to have sex naturally when you started using the shots ? Do you know what your T level increased to ? I am trying to get mine up into the mid 700 range. Your feedback is appreciated as I try and find a solution to my problem.
Cheers
