The implants are not lifelong devices and will have to be replaced. You hear varying stories about the duration of an implant ranging from 5 years to 20. I think it is generally accepted that they will last 10-15 years and then will have to be replaced. I've heard it said that Dr. Kramer says it will go 20 years if you use it once a week. I'm not sure how that works in regard to cycling it which is also necessary at least at first. Don't know if you have to cycle daily for life or not.

I was implanted at age 35 and I am happy. I already had one revision. You will need a few revisions during your lifetime. The good news is you will probably get a bigger implant everytime you get a revision. Also the recovery from revisions is usually easier than the first surgery.

Thanks for good imformation. It will help me for considering implant

Are you satisfied to implant??

If there are little uncomfortable thing after implant, could you tell me that?

I'm only 19 days post op with my implant so I can't say if I'm satisfied or not. I am satisfied with the progress I'm making, but haven't had a chance to use the implant yet.

Yes, there is soreness for a while but it is tolerable. I'm at 19 days and am starting to feel less sore.

My doctor promises the length and girth will be good. I haven't had a chance to test it because I don't inflate until November 14th. As far as flaccid length and girth, it seems to be a little larger in that state because the cylindars don't allow the penis to shrink as much. However, I am inflated 20% so I don't know exactly about that either.
