Quite possible that an implant sooner rather than later will be the best course for you. However, I take your comment about losing your "best age sexually" to mean that you see your 20s or thereabouts to be that "best age". Perhaps just my own perspective, but I would say you cannot now tell what is your "best age" in that department, if there is such a thing at all. You might be able to make some assessment, in hindsight, after a few decades.
I went through a lot of life with no ED issues. Sure, my 20s were a good era, but somewhat short of the mark if I tried to identify my best age. Your sexual experience and views will change and evolve. Now, approaching 70, with some ED for the first time, I am inclined to recall my 50s as a very good decade sex-wise. Perhaps my zenith. But the years since have been nothing to lament, either. I certainly do not see myself as a wistful old man, missing the glory days of my 20s.
Your sexual experience, your perception of it, your appreciation and enjoyment of it, will vary across the years. For me it has all been good. But I'll never think that my 20s or 30s were the "best" and all downhill thereafter. Not at all. Who knows? Maybe the best is yet to be.
I am sure it is a challenge to have to deal with ED and to be considering an implant in one's 20s. This forum is a good place to come for information and advice. Good to face and deal with the issue sooner rather than later. Not so much because the you are otherwise missing out on your sexual prime, but because it's a psychological burden to bear and there are treatments available. If an implant is the best course, and cost is an issue, the employment/insurance suggestion might be useful, but no doubt there are other ways. People work and save up for cars, vacations, all kinds of things. Why not an Eveready Energizer truncheon?
