awaken nerves

I've been reading about the new OTC gel that has been FDA approved. It apparently has something to do with the nerves which got me wondering about products like nervive or capsaicin cream that I think diabetics use on their feet. Would things like that also work to restore or awaken the nerves on the penis?

FWIW You can do the research and see that capsaicin has been used in studies for erections. Intra-urethral infused capsaicin as a matter of fact! Anybody have any experience with this? Wouldn't the ingredient that makes peppers hot, burn like mad if introduced into the urethra? I can't imagine how this study worked.

Don't know if this is the best location for this post, but hope this helps some of you.
Vibration has been shown to aid in restoring sensitivity to the glans. I found a vibration toy at TEMU that covers the glans and has 10 different vibration modes--feels fantastic. It comes with three lengths of soft silicone sounding rods (removable), and that would be up to the individual to use them on not. For around $13, I think it was a good investment for me.

My two cents.
I find it extremely unlikely that you would want to put capsaicin into your urethra. The burn would be beyond your worst nightmare. I think your statement of diabetics using it on their feet, is probably related to treating cases of painful diabetic neuropathy.
It is not for your urethra.

Temu is a shopping site. Google will find it. I'll try adding the link .https://www.temu.com/1pc-male-masturbat ... 65867.html

My nerves were severed in a prostatectomy. I have definitely lost most of the good feeling that used to lead to an orgasm during sex. I can have good sex with my wife using Trimix injections, but I don't have enough feeling that allows me to build to a climax.

In my research, I've read a couple of studies where vibration was applied to the penis each day (at the frenulum) it was something like 10 seconds on and 10 seconds off, repeated 10 times. The studies were to help with reactivating nerves after a nerve sparing prostatectomy. So I've been doing this in hopes of reawakening some nerves that will give me more sensitiviy. I do this several times a week, and it often leads to a flaccid orgasm which I feel coming on (and go with it). Lower frequency, hi intensity seems to work the best. I just use a cheap $23 silicone vibrator from Amazon.

Time will tell if this awakens nerves or not, but in the meanwhile, I'm not complaining about the orgasms. The adventure continues...
