Had prostate removed 1 yr. ago. 63 yrs. old, nerves saved. oral meds. not working. Thinking about trimix. In STL area

I was told "nerve sparing" 19 years, 10 months and 22 days ago, but I still haven't found them.
I cannot help wonder if the medical profession tries to ease the shock by telling us this story. As I write this I have never heard of a man who was told this who did not have ED after the surgery. I've followed this subject with groups ever since I had surgery in Dec of 1998.

Welcome to the forum. If oral meds or any other method first work I highly recommend Trimix. I have been using it for over 6 months and love it. I was very scared of it for a long time, but once I made up my mind I never looked back.
Make an appointment with a urologist and give it a shot.
Come back here to learn because there is a learning curve for sure.

There are numerous guys here on FT who have had nerve sparing prostatectomies. It is real. I had my robotic prostatectomy just over three years ago. Following surgery I had my first strong erection one week after surgery. Once healed, my orgasms were intense. At the same time I was dealing with Prostate Cancer my buddy was. His surgeon was unable to save the nerve due to the cancer growing around them and he had no remaining sensitivity and couldn't get an erection.
I had ED for many years prior to the Prostatectomy, so I was not without problems, but the nerves were definitely not an issue for me.
