Hey guys,

I'm a young guy (28). I've been suffering of ED for the past year and a half, and it's been a nightmare. The worst part is that it happened overnight. I used to have very good erections and was able to have sex, and then one day I couldn't keep it hard anymore. I suspect an "all-in" protein shake containing sketchy ingredients might have caused this.

This problem has ruined my life. I was working in the financial field, and I lost my corporate job because I kept making mistakes on files-- mainly because I was so depressed that I could not concentrate on my work because of ED.

Anyhow, my main problem is that I cannot keep an erection when standing up. It's nearly impossible, and it's even more impossible GETTING an erection when standing up. I have seen numerous doctors and I'm now taking daily Cialis, 5mg. It's working so far (I think I can have sex), but since I'm young, I'm scared that it will stop working in a few months/years due to my body aging.

I'm waiting on my doctor to give me a doppler test. It should be happening some time next month.

Thank you for welcoming me here. Appreciate it, really.

Welcome. You'll find lots of information, first-hand experience and advice here. Also plenty of guys a lot younger than I, so you will be able to relate. Best of luck to you!

Your case hits me hard - I'm 28 too, also happened overnight, ALSO had extreme difficulties at work due to depression and it has also, well and truly, ruined my life.

Keep us updated man, I'd love to know how you get on.

Cheers.

Wow, I thought I was the only guy in his 20's here. Thanks for the welcome and I will update you!

Still on daily Cialis, I get hard erections when sitting or lying down but as soon as I stand up, I lose them. Very depressed. What about yourself?

My heart goes out to you guys. About 5 years ago, nearly overnight, I lost my voice. I was diagnosed with "bowed" vocal cords. I went to the Vanderbilt Voice Center and saw the head of the department. This is the place all the Nashville singers go for their voices. There are autographed pictures and awards lining their walls, including Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. These guys are top in the field.

After a year and a half of driving back and forth an hour each way to Nashville getting voice therapy and numberous $800 imaging videos done, I was none better. Guess what I got. Vocal IMPLANTS. These press the cords togther and allow them to phonate again.

My penile implant procedure this morning with Dr. Kramer took 20 minutes (he's so good that's all the time it takes him). The vocal implants procedure was three and a half hours and I was awake for the operation with scope down my nose. But I can talk again. Can't sing any more, but I can talk. My voice isn't strong, but it's back.

How did I lose it so suddently? They never could explain that to me. They said it's caused by abuse, but I never did anything differently than usual.

Amyway, I am now the proud owner of two implants. Wonder what will malfunction next!!

Best of luck to you guys in your struggle.
