Hello from Italy

Hello everybody,
first of all I would like to thank the administrators and members of this forum for the experiences reported which I consider precious and important for those like me who will most likely have to think about a system.

I am 57 years old, I am writing from Rome Italy, 40 days ago I was operated on for a radical prostatectomy for cancer, the surgeon could not save the nerves of the erection .........
I take 20mg cialis twice a week, but no results for now.

A urologist friend, who will visit me next week, tells me that it is still too early to think about an implant, I assume that he will offer me other drugs including punctures ....

I am not confident and that is why I am starting to look for alternative routes such as implantation.

Thanks again to everyone

Welcome, glad you found FT. Wish I had before my implant.
Sorry about the cancer diagnosis. If all the nerves are gone, it does sound like an implant will be needed. Find a good doc, ask questions and hopefully have the process completed.
Good Luck.

I have ED from a radical prostatectomy. I get no natural erections, nothing. Pills alone give me no erection, not even a chubby. However, I've been using alprostadil injections for 11 years with great success. You are only 40 days out from your prostatectomy, you don't yet know what your capabilities will eventually be, although having all nerves taken doesn't bode well for much recovery. Consider a VED (vacuum erection device/penis pump) for therapy while you figure it out.
