When do you pump up?
Because of recent hernia surgery, I haven't had an opportunity for my wife and I to try out my implant, but I'm healing and our date is looming soon. But I've been wondering, when one is about to embark on the lovemaking journey, at what point is it best to hit the pump? Right at the beginning befor...

Re: New User-size eligibility question
To KMeister--I'm a server in the city and unfortunately my company does not provide health insurance--I will be taking out independent health insurance, hopefully for a plan that covers Dr. Eid's services. If anyone has any information on insurance plans in the New York area it would be greatly app...

Re: Question about glans with implant
Just a clariication: The implant does not expand, filling the glans. However, the tips of the implant cylinders, if placed well by the surgeon, can extend 1/3 or 1/2 into the glans, making the head a bit more sturdy, so to speak.

Re: Longest running implant (properly wprking)
Last June my uro implanted me with the Coloplast model pre-OTR. He said he had been having problems with the OTR not inflating. He also said that a prominent colleague in another state had also stopped using the OTR. My uro flatly stated he wants to wait a few more years until "they get the bug...

Re: New User-size eligibility question
Is anyone familiar with the best New York insurance to use for Dr. Eid? I don't understand this question. Most people have insurance through their job or Medicare or a company they've already engaged, so in most cases regarding insurance the issue is: "Is this doctor or this procedure covered ...

Coloplast vs. Coloplast OTR
I have the Coloplast implant but not the OTR. My uro had installed a few of the latest OTRs but lost confidence in them after problems from more than one patient (mostly failure to inflate), so last year (2011) I got the not OTR version. Due to some other health issues I've yet to really take it out...

Re: Best Sexual Position(s) for Implant
Due to my ED I've never been able to stay hard when the woman was on top--even when I was young and got a woody a hundred times a day. Certainly might be worth a try. Does the woman on top position increase the possibility of the ever-dreaded EROSION? KMeister Don't think there is a "right"...

Best Sexual Position(s) for Implant
On Monday, March 19, I had to have surgery for a hernia, which had been very painful for the last month. My wife and I sneaked in a little lovemaking two nights prior (Saturday, March 17). It was the first time we had intercourse since June, 2011. I had my first implant surgery last June and revisio...

Re: My Titan Blew Out Saturday...
Sorry to read the latest news but hang in there (no pun intended) and don't sit by the phone waiting for them to call. Call them and reschedule. KMeister Sadly, the doctor's office called today and told me my surgery has been cancelled for tomorrow. I was informed that the OR rooms were ALL having m...

Re: AMS 700 vs Titan OTR: Which is right for me?
If the doc measures the cylinder length correctly you should expect virtually no loss with either of implants... That's a bg "if." One of the most common complaints about penile implant surgery is the loss of length. Just look at the numerous threads on this forum on the subject. I spoke ...
