Sorry I was judgmental and simplistic.

I guess we'll never know where the leak occurred. I don't believe we can ever take possession of the apparatus even though we pay for it.
I've always believed the weakest part of all of this is when the doctor puts in a connector to connect tubing.

I'm unsure how your surgery and postop went, but I was left inflated overnight the first day,
On the second morning a doc deflated the device.

I wonder if that protocol would have shown a problem with the device?

I sometimes stay inflated all night and part of the day.
It's been almost a year postop, so that's not a worry.
I never have any discomfort pumped up or staying pumped up.

I'm actually uncomfortable unpumped at time due to the kink in the cylinder(s).
That is getting better though.

I don't think anything about your implant experience is normal.
Don't let the doctor say give it more time.
He must be willing to admit that what you have isn't right.
If he won't fix this, I don't know what you can do.
Maybe a trip to the US if possible?

When my pump bulb goes flat when I squeeze it, I press the release button and can feel the bulb refilling.
It usually resets it.

I wouldn't even think about a stretch test. I never had one nor did my doc even want to hear what I considered my size.
All measuring was done when I was under and he was able to size me to perfection.

Stop worrying about things and just go with the flow.
Easier said than done I guess.
