Re: pumping problems.
Woody, wondering if you ever got this to work? I had an infection 3 mos post op that kept me from pumping for 3 weeks. When I finally got back to it, first the release valve was jammed and it was easy to pump (too easy) Saw doc yesterday - he got it going but last night and today it's an effen stone...

Re: Is this a slow leak?
Ed, Yeah, to be honest I was a little freaked. I started questioning my doc about implant types etc & he said don't worry, you got the Cadillac - Good luck & happy healing.
& good luck to you radiodec, I really feel for you. I hope your revision goes well.

Re: Is this a slow leak?
Guys, sorry if I caused some panic - it appears my ams700 is just fine. Doc says it was a combination of operator error and a stuck release valve. He did a reboot and it started working perfectly again. I learned a few things. First, he had me inflate and told me I was doing it wrong. Apparently the...

Re: Is this a slow leak?
radiodec, I am very sorry to hear this - especially since it appears we both have the same implant and mine appears to be doing something similar. Does not bode well for ams 700 lgx. At least you've had yours for 4 years, I've had mine for 4 months - haven't had time to wear it out yet.

Re: How long to inflate?
Michaelm, Don't panic, it may not be broken. At first i couldn't squeeze the bulb at all. Later I got it to inflate but then I had a similar experience where I could pump all day and it wouldn't inflate all the way. Also had instances of auto deflating. I think the deflate button gets stuck sometime...

Re: Flying with an implant
Thanks for sharing your experiences- looks like I'll probably be ok. I'm not concerned about telling them about my implant but I'm afraid my grandson would be mortified. continued safe travels to you all.

Flying with an implant
I'm taking my grandson on a fishing trip next week on the Olympic peninsula and just realized I gotta go through that X-ray thing at the airport. Sounds like many of you have done some flying - did you have to explain your extra equipment?

Re: pumping problems.
I had the same problem for the first few months. Then discovered there are positions where it pumps easier than others. I finally got it to budge by pulling down on the pump (kinda like trying to pull it down toward your ankles) at the same time as squeezing the bulb with both hands. Soaking in a wa...
