Re: Who told you about implant surgery?
I have a funny story to tell about this. I first heard of implant surgery back in the early 90s, when I was in college. I was working in the student union breaking down a stockroom or something with my a few of the other young guys, my manager, and this older guy whose position I never learned (nev...

Re: Male vs Female satisfaction
What I'm wondering is if the dissatisfaction is primarily due to physical reasons ("the glans doesn't feel right") or psychological ones ("he never gets hard from me kissing/fondling/sucking him alone"). Or something else, like "I was so glad sex was over, now it's back lik...

Re: DD Bryan. My implant journey .
26 Days since surgery, Did anyone's wife, girlfriend, mistress, or partner have a difficult time 'waiting' to use 'your' new toy? My wife sure is! :o When I pump up and strut around (don't deny it, you do it too) and use those hip gestures, she says I'm being cruel. It has been frustrating as we we...

Re: Foley Catheter really necessary?
I've never heard of an implant procedure that did not include catheterization. You can certainly ask your surgeon, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Re: A question about implant replacement
Lots of surgeons do revisions of other surgeon's work. You won't have any problem finding somebody to take care of you.

Re: jock strap, aka athletic supporter
Obviously you don't need a urinal if you have a catheter in place. After the catheter is removed you may find the urinal handy - not because you can't travel to the bathroom - but because your aim will be bad. The urinal makes it easy to keep things contained until your aim improves.

Re: jock strap, aka athletic supporter
You'll likely find urination very clumsy at first. The urinal makes things much easier, but of course it's up to you. I'm speaking based on experience, and you can take it or leave it Whatever you decide, let us know how things go.

Re: jock strap, aka athletic supporter
You will be sent home with a supporter, most likely stuffed with cotton pads. You might wait before using a jock - briefs might turn out to be more comfortable for you. Be sure to take home the hospital urinal - you'll be glad you have it for the first few days. Good luck!
