Very easy to read and informative.

I believe most guys who lose size had the pre-existing issues you mentioned.
I had none and lost none.

I think you also don't want the cylinders to be encapsulated when deflated.
I think cycling is important, not just leaving it either inflated or deflated.

If you're in a place where it won't show, you can put several pumps in to smooth it out.
I do, but only at home.

I had to sleep in the recliner.
I don't remember the reason why.
I had no swelling problems though.

I was also thinking about dorsal and ventral using fish terms.
The vent of a fish (anus) is on the bottom.
