Re: Trimix formula downgraded
That is a pretty big downgrade in the mix. I wouldn't know what to tell you to try. We have no way of knowing which drug you were mostly responding to. Generally the alprostadil is the heavy hitter in the mix and they cut that in half. Did the doctor's office have a recommendation?

NO!
It could be a minor additional consideration but you had better have some good solid other reasons.

I use an Osbone Erecaid. Not cheap. The one you're looking at is cheap enough so you're not out much if it doesn't work well.

Re: New Member from Central Florida
This post is way too long. I'll try to reduce it later. I’m not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and hallucinations and or delusions at worst. Always remember, internet forum advice is likely worth what you paid for it or worse. Always ask yo...

Re: Caverject availability over 1year
I just checked retail non-insurance cost of Edex   Yeah, that's why I went to compounded alprostadil, which it turns out I like better. My insurance covered Edex for a short while and then quit. I couldn't afford it without coverage. With the compounded version, which I got four times...

Yes, the Edex should work well for you if the Caverject was working.

That's one every 7 1/2 years. That would kind of suck.

Re: When to apply Vacuum Pump
Well I'm certainly not the resident pumping expert. I will say that every guy is different as is every couple's relationship. You'll need to experiment. If you can tolerate it, taking a PDE5 like Viagra can sometimes help with pumping. It helps me a lot. Due to time limiting factors of constriction ...

Re: Trimix maximum dose
Maybe I've just developed the unflattering talent of manipulation to a higher degree. You need to stroke their ego while seeming deferential while you're explaining your situation and eliciting their assistance. All the while sounding well informed and confident in your knowledge. And you do need to...

Re: Trimix maximum dose
I've never found a urologist that was particularly knowledgeable about injections. Kinda astounding. I did my own research and then trained my Primary doctors, four so far. You have to be very tactful about it as most doctors have big but fragile egos.

Re: Trimix maximum dose
...The big difference from other urologists is that they immediately put me on the maximum dose " (strength?) " of tri-mix (papaverine 30 mg/phentolamine 3.3 mg/PGE-1 53 mcg/mL) and said it was OK to use a full syringe... I’ve been afraid to use the full syringe and have been stopping at ...
