Re: RTE's

Donnie, I'm glad that cleared things up for you. :D However, that line of reasoning may only be relative to AMS because strongagain seems to have had a different protocol. I got mine right off of the operating room report. Great song you wrote for your wife! Thats good for 10 hubbie points or a toss...

Re: RTE's

Guys,

Additionally and importantly, when we speak of RTE's we speak of a single number, such as, mine are 3.5cm RTE's. This is a total of both sides number. For me, 2.0cm RTE on the right side and 1.5cm RTE on the left side, total 3.5cm RTE's.

Just FYI

Re: Vacuum assist to IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis)

Lost Sheep, Ok, you might be onto something. You place a VED around a penis which has an implant. Yes, the vacuum may effect a change because the cyclinders are elastic and will expand!! That being the case, pumping should be easier, theoretically!! Would I test this theory on myself.............NO!...

Re: Vacuum assist to IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis)

Lost Sheep, I believe, but am not certain, that a vacuum cannot effect a change around a closed system such as an implant, thus cannot improve pumping characteristics because it cannot change the atmospheric pressure in the closed system. I appreciate sparing with you. It makes me think, and like yo...

Re: Vacuum assist to IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis)

Lost Sheep,

Maybe a better question would be; What would be accomplished by using a VED and what would be the mechanics involved, (i.e. Drawing blood into the penis enough to support an erection)?

Re: Vacuum assist to IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis)

Concur!! The implant is a closed, sealed system. Using a VED will do nothing, except as Donnie said, "screw things up".

Re: THAT / HOW / WHY

Thanks Lost Sheep, those are all good observations and ones I've wondered about myself, even though I am guilty of posting information that I don't fully understand. The bulb construction is one I'm especially curious about. Someone recently posted something to the effect of "if you pump just f...

Re: Your experience

I'm 62 days post-op and I couldn't be happier. My entire experience from pre-op to date has been a positive one with the exception of losing some size, and I'm getting used to that.
