AMS Boston Scientifica financial assistance program

Hello everyone hope all is well. I recently got denied a second time for implant surgery by BCBS. My doctor sent a pamphlet from AMS outlining their financial assistance program and grant program to help with the cost after being denied by your insurance. Has anyone on here ever used this program or...

Re: Got denied by BCBS

Thank you all for the suggestions. I've been busy today talking with my doctor, the hospital and insurance company. The implants are excluded in my policy so there is nothing that can be done about it. My doc set up a meeting with the implant rep to see if there are any finance type options to help ...

Re: Got denied by BCBS

Hey brother I hope you're healing nicely! It's the insurance plan from bcbs the city chose that doesn't cover it. The lady that handles the insurance for my Dr. coordinated my plication surgery 5 months ago and said she thought I still had United Health Care which is why she put me on his schedule.

Got denied by BCBS

Got scheduled by my urologist 2 weeks ago for an implant which I thought was odd since i hadn't got approval from BCBS. Was told today they would not cover any part of the surgery and I will have to pay 20 grand out of pocket. What's worse is the city I work for changed insurance carriers this year ...

Re: Age 39, seeking advice

Hello Larry I hope all is well. I guess I should start out by saying I have a very loving and understanding wife. The way I was handling my ED issues, such as the constant feelings of being inadequate, constantly apologizing without trying to find solutions and thinking my wife was going to leave me...

Re: Age 39, seeking advice

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm just a couple years older than you and have been going through the same issues for 2 decades now. I honestly thought there was no hope for me. Over a year ago I decided to do something about it before divorce was becoming a possibility. I've done pills, injections ...

Re: Type of VED to buy

Thanks for posting Robert as I am looking for the same answer as you. There are several types of pumps and I have no idea which ones are good. I'm just looking mainly for one to prep for my surgery as I will of course not need it one it's done.
