Re: how long after RP surgery did your recovery plateau?

Thanks for that info. Were your nerve bundles spared 100%?

how long after RP surgery did your recovery plateau?

I'm a few weeks away from 1 yr post RP and pretty happy with my erection therapy so far. A few weeks ago I was able to have intercourse without any meds. It wasn't real hard and didn't last too long but felt great both physically and emotionally. I'm going to continue injecting for a while for the t...

Re: BENT!

I have a bend to the left but my scarring is at the base of the shaft (confirmed with ultrasound), not where I inject. I was told because of this the injections aren't the cause, but that 25% of RP patients develop scar tissue.

Re: pointing to the left after injection

Being the worrying type that I am I got a second opinion this week from a different Uro. He did a physical exam and an Ultrasound and confirmed the plaque at the base of my shaft on the left side. He said it has not yet calcified and given how slight my bend is he recommends not treating it medicall...

Re: pointing to the left after injection

Saw my urologist this week, showed him some pics and he did a physical exam. He said he felt a plaque on the left side, which is consistent with the left bend. I can't feel it myself. His recommendation is to keep injecting and if the bend worsens to come back in. Given that I'm not experiencing pai...

Re: pointing to the left after injection

Thanks guys for all the responses, much appreciated. I made an appointment to see my uro next week in person to discuss peyronies and scar tissue with him some more, get a physical exam, and show him some pics. Guess I'm still paranoid about all of this. I'll check back in after I see him.

Re: pointing to the left after injection

Spoke to my uro and he said it might be Peyronies but because the bending happened early on with the Trimix he wasn't convinced that would be the cause. He said if there is scarring it could be due to not having erections for months after RP surgery (5 mos in my case). Since starting Trimix last Dec...

Re: pointing to the left after injection

I've had about 10 injections, alternating sides and injecting only once per week, 0.15 ml.

I noticed the bending after only a few injections and didn't think much of it until this week. Waiting for a call back from my uro.

pointing to the left after injection

I had RP last July and started trimix in December. After injecting the trimix and getting good and hard my dick points to the left, roughly between 10 and 11 o'clock instead of straight ahead. I can straighten it out with my hand and it doesn't prevent comfortable intercourse but I'm wondering if it...

Re: Rhythm of Love Making with Injections

Good timing of this discussion for me, just started my Trimix journey last week and have been thinking about the rhythm question. I was considering pre-filling a syringe so I could save a few minutes, sounds like others are doing this. Are there any safety concerns with this approach? I assume once ...
